End of Season Player Rankings

by the BAD ASS Reporter

#1 Cav Manning                  .645       34 HR        177 RBI

All this guy does is produce. 2005 MVP. He led the league in Doubles, Triples (tie), RBI’s and games played.

#2 Torance Matsui               .653       39 HR         172 RBI

Last years MVP put up some more gaudy numbers this season. He led the league Triples (tie), HR’s, Hits, Runs and Inside the Park HR’s.

#3 Rob Flores                        .629       2 HR           84 RBI

Sure he may have lost a step, and his hair has a few more grays mixed in, but the stories of his demise have been greatly exaggerated. Crafty veteran who led the league in singles and games played.

#4 Brandon Ridley               .696        6 HR         62 RBI

The numbers aren’t overly impressive, aside from the average, but he is solid on D and gets the people around him to play better. Scored 72 runs in 25 games.

#5 Bryan Bush                      .610         3 HR           61 RBI

As a BAB rookie he played 30 games and proved himself to be one of the top defensive players in the league. Scored 88 runs and added 10 Inside the park HR’s.

#6 Alvin Trinh                      .556       11 HR         73 RBI

Played in 25 games and showed some pop at the plate. He needs to improve his avg. to maximize his potential. Possible serious MVP candidate in the making.

#7 Greg Minor                      .601        66 RBI          105 Runs

5th in Singles, 2nd in doubles, 3rd in triples and 4th in hits and runs and plays one of the top outfields in BAB. The Man is underrated in my eyes.

#8 Leland Yow                      .573        74 RBI            89 Runs

3rd in Singles, 2nd in Triples, 5th in Hits and Runs and 4th in RBI’s. Even in what some would call a down year for the league’s premier leadoff hitter, he posted some nice numbers and improves every game with the glove.

# 9 Tito Bernal                      .552        6 HR           69 RBI

2nd in Singles and tied for 1st in games played. Showed a little pop and an immensely improved glove at 1st and even at 3rd.

#10 Al Padron                       .603         1 HR         38 RBI

A sure runaway winner for Most Improved. 4th in singles. Improved on his D and got his first HR of his BAB career in ’05.
