This Week in BAD ASS Baseball May 18, 2006 - Anyone else catch (pun intended) Willy Tavares doing his best B-Ham impression vs. The Giants on Monday night. Lots of speed to get to the ball, then the trouble starts. - The Annual Ass Backwards game may become a costumed event. So it could soon be known as the Ass Backwards Costume Game, or the A.B.C. Game. - Is there any sort of consensus on who Sacramento resembles? I have heard everything from Barry Bonds to Derek Fisher. Don’t think the website has ever had an official poll, I think this topic calls for the first. - Finally got a chance to see Cav’s Howard Stern Film. Many moments that made me laugh, but best of all was Sacramento in the Easter Bunny outfit. - So I was checking out the stats and Leland had a HR in 2003? A real life over the wall HR? I don’t remember that, but it must be true. I always thought he was at zero for his career. - So the list of fence wreckers added another member this past game, only difference, the other members of that group actually made the catch. - Some members of BAB were booted from everyone’s favorite field (S.C.H.S.) while taking some BP this weekend. This puts the field’s availability into question for future games. - Javier assured me that he will have his $20 for this weekend. Now if he could work on his attire he may be available for this weekend. - I bet Gerren, and his face, wishes we were using the roll up fence when he went Aaron Rowand at Taylor. Or did Aaron Rowand go Gerren? - Forecast calls for rain this weekend! I thought we were done with the rain. Oh well, weather people are usually wrong anyway. And if they aren’t, it’s not like we can’t play through some rain.
