BADASS Days of Summer

37 games and counting! I can remember when it was cold out side and we were sitting on the bench talking about who would win, Tampa Bay or the Raiders. It was Super Bowl Sunday, the historic first ever game of Badass Baseball, I remember it well, I was the first ever small penis, I take great pride in being the first of anything, that’s why I’m sad I never had a virgin lol.

Weeks went by, I would be wearing a long sleeve shirt under my uni since it was cold in the morn/afternoon. I think of wearing long sleeves now and I wanna puke. We were playing during the rainy season, the field was an absolute mess, puddles at 3^rd and short, for those of you that have seen the pic of the field know what I’m talking about.

Weeks went on as well as months, the weather changed and so did the competitors. We lost a few guys to jobs and we got a few more guys by word of mouth. We got a website built and we all enjoyed telling young Kyle to fuck off when he would tell us shit in the field and yet he sucked an aids filled dick.

We changed our number of games from 32 to 40, and we had a lot of injuries along the way as well, I would be 90% of them. Ed hurt himself a few times and would still come out just to ump to keep everyone from crying about fouls and tag outs. Last game Ed prob had his biggest injury, kinda, puking and just about passing out, he left the game but stayed to do stats for us.

The Small Penis Award was introduced to Badass to mixed reviews. A lot of guys were pissed to get the award, but a lot took it with a laugh and a smile knowing full well that it was a semi joke award and just coming back the next week wanting to redeem themselves. The biggest controversy of the year came when Greg Minor earned the award and refused to take it. He said it was unfair because his fielding was good during that game. After that whole thing happened, Greg didn’t play for about 10 games or so. A lot of people didn’t understand why he would do that, this is a guy who has the top Avg. in the League and is a very talented player, he just didn’t have a good game that time.

So that’s our League, 37 games down, 3 to go, we still have 3 Gold Gloves to hand out, 1 MVP and 1 Most Improved Player of the year. What # will the home runs stop at? Minor, Javier and Ed are 1 2 3 in the top Avg. who will come out on top? All I can say is to stay tuned, this year isn’t done yet and you aint seen nothing yet!
